Hello dear friends and family. Just checking in for a quick update. T-9 months until our wedding day and things are progressing nicely. If you have not seen yet, we got our engagement pictures done! They are amazing and we had a great day in Ann Arbor. It was an unusual 80 degrees in October, not a cloud in the sky, and we found ourselves on the hot side for most of the day (something we did not expect). Walking into the Big House and onto the field was incredible for a couple avid Michigan football fans. There was a lot of kissing and lots of laughs. A big THANK YOU to Joel, my soon-to-be brother-in-law, for coming along and looking after Bull dog for the day. Believe it or not, even a 12 pound shih tzu can be heavy when you have to hold him for 2 hours straight. I am lucky to be marrying into such a fantastic family! I am now trying to figure out a way to pay for all of the many engagement pictures I want to buy!
So what else is new? Hmmm... I got my wedding SHOES today! Mom and I spent an amazing day amongst Manolo, Chanel, Valentino, Louboutin, and Vera Wang. I got a pair for the ceremony and a pair for the reception. I won't reveal the details, but they are fabulous and I absolutely adore them! The ceremony shoes are being shipped in from California and I can't wait until they come in! So, we bought the shoes and then browsed around the mall all decorated for Christmas. It was such a great day! After the wedding shoe shopping Matt and I met with a DJ and booked the DJ! The only thing we have left to book is the cake, favors, and honeymoon! We are leaning towards a honeymoon in the Bahamas now too. It seems easiest and all of our potential destinations look beautiful. Sooo excited for it to all come together!
Other than wedding stuff--- The semester is coming to an end for both Matt and I which means that there is a lot to be done. It has gone by super fast and I have mixed feelings about the program, but all in all it is going quite well. Full-time work and full-time school keeps me busy, but it is more doable than I thought it would be.
In other news, Kristi and Chris got engaged and she asked me to be a bridesmaid!! Matt and I will be going to the Dominican Republic a little less than 2 months after our honeymoon for their destination wedding and we are so excited!
Unfortunately after writing several papers a week for my classes, I'm not quite as long winded in my blogs, but that is all the updates for now!
